Kwame Yeboah’s humble journey into ‘music began at the tender age of 5 playing the percussions and drums when he was just a school boy and rubbing shoulders with his fathers’ band mates who played with the then popular 60/70’s hi-life band KK’s No. 2. By the age of 7 he was on lead guitar. He passionately followed his music dream and by the age of 15, he had learned to play the Keyboard and went on to form his own band African Fire, and then later The Priests with a group of friends, whilst at the same time he was shared as leader for the Megastar Band.
Fuelled by the desire for a higher education, Kwame, then 18, left the shores of Ghana in to Denmark to study Music (Arrangement and Harmony), and took up workshops with Jazz Artists and music tutors such as Michel Camilo and Danilo Perez.
Kwame Yeboah’s big break into the UK’s R and B and Pop music scene came when he was invited to work with award winning British Urban artiste Ms Dynamite which was followed by many TV appearances and live shows. Another invitation followed from the international UK R and B and Garage heartthrob Craig David to play in his band. A world tour ensued and he hasn’t looked back since.
